Superintendent
Hendry County is seeking a General Superintendent to assist the Public Works Director for directing and coordinating activities of the Road and Bridge Department. The individual must have a high school diploma or general education degree and eight years of supervisory experience in the construction, repair, and maintenance of streets and/or public works. Must have knowledge of equipment procedures and techniques used in road and bridge maintenance with a wide range of public works, construction, repair procedures and practices. Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions, and pesticides in the work place is also a requirement. Call 863- 675-5222 for a complete position announcement.
