WASTE PICKUP

  • North/West Hendry County: Pioneer, LaDeca & LaBelle Rural Areas garbage pickup is on Monday & Thursdays.
  • North/East Hendry County: Montura, Harlem, Hookers Point & Clewiston Rural Areas garbage pickup is on Tuesdays & Fridays.
  • South Hendry County: Garbage pickup is on Mondays & Thursdays.
  • Garbage: Food and household waste, place within six feet of curb in animal resistant container.
  • Yard Waste: Branches, leaves and grass clippings, place at roadside in cans or bags with regular garbage. Branches must be no more than 4' long/4" in diameter. Bundles/bags/containers shall not exceed 40 pounds.
    Composting/Regulated Burns are best for yard waste.  Pickup begins on Wednesday.
  • Regular Residential Car and Truck Size Tires: Place at curb along side regular garbage. Maximum of 4 per household.

SPECIAL WASTE

  • White Goods: Washers, Stoves, Hot Water Heaters, etc. (On Call/No Charge)
  • Furniture: Place out at curb along side regular garbage. (No Charge)

WASTE TIRES

  • Regular Residential Car and Truck Size Tires: Place at curb along side regular garbage.  Maximum of 4 per household.
  • All Other Tires On The Rim: Take to the Hendry County Recycling Center.
  • Car Tires = $2.00 charge each for de-rimming and disposal.
  • Heavy Duty and Truck Tires = $5.00 charge each for de-rimming and disposal.
  • Schedule a drop off by calling the Recycling Center.

CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS

        Will be picked up on an "on call" basis for an additional fee.
