PUBLIC NOTICE OF AERIAL ADULT MOSQUITO TREATMENTS
Hendry County will be conducting aerial adult mosquito control operations over the county as mosquito population levels warrant. These operations will continue throughout the remainder of the year. The treatments will be performed during evening hours, weather permitting. The insecticide to treat for adult mosquitoes is approved for application by the Environmental Protection Agency and the State of Florida. This operation will be conducted by Clarke.

Notice is hereby given that the Hendry County Board of County Commissioners' regularly scheduled meetings on July 9, 2019 and July 23, 2019, have been canceled.
The Board will hold a regular meeting on July 16, 2019, at 5:00 p.m., at at the Hendry County Courthouse, Commission Chambers, 25 E. Hickpochee Ave., LaBelle, Florida.
The meeting is open to the public. If a person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, he/she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Please note that matters may be discussed at the meeting which are not on the prepared agenda for the meeting.

HENDRY COUNTY STATE HOUSING INITIATIVES PARTNERSHIP (SHIP) PROGRAM
Hendry County hereby announces that funds for Housing Assistance are available from the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program. Funding for fiscal year 2017/2018 through fiscal year 2018/2019 has been allocated from SHIP. Funds will be made available for rehabilitative assistance.
Hendry County will be hosting two rehabilitation orientations to explain the program details and answer questions applicants may have. The first homeowner orientation will be conducted on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the Hendry County Extension Office, located at 1085 Pratt Boulevard, LaBelle, FL 33975. The second homeowner orientation will be conducted on Wednesday August 21, 2019 at 5:30 pm at the Hendry County Annex Offices, Janet B. Taylor Auditorium, 1100 S. Olympia Street, Clewiston, FL 33440. Individual applications for rehabilitation assistance will be available beginning on Friday, August 23, 2019 through Friday, September 20, 2019 or until funds are expended. The applications will be available on the Hendry County website (www.hendryfla.net) and at the Hendry County Housing Department locations at 133 N. Bridge Street, LaBelle, Florida and 1100 S. The open application period is for thirty (30) days, beginning Friday, August 23, 2019 and will remain open until all funds have been expended. Applications will be available between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. All applications must be received by the Housing Department, 133 N. Bridge Street, LaBelle, Florida by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019.
Pick up/drop off time for the Clewiston office is as follows: Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm and 9:00 am until 4:00 pm Thursday and Friday. Pick up/drop off times for the Labelle office is as follows: Monday through Wednesday 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. Thursday and Friday 9:00 am until 12:00 pm.
All SHIP assistance recipients must agree to comply with all SHIP Program criteria and requirements as set forth in Chapter 67-37, Florida Administrative Code and are frequently modified and amended. The Hendry County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to close any program application period by Board resolution. Hendry County SHIP programs do not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, familial status, disability, age or any other protected classes.
